The History of Walters Art Gallery Museum
The Walters Art Gallery Museum came to be in the 19th century by, William Thompson Walters 
and, his son, Henry Walters.  
The gentlemen put together an assortment of diverse art from all around the world.  
The art these men put together included everything from master paintings from Europe to
beautiful Greek and Roman antiques to Far Eastern art.  
They built a foundation for the Walters Art Gallery Museum that has 55 centuries of art.
